Fourth Night
Apr. 18th, 2014 01:05 pmGot a dvd shelf in the mail on Thursday so I put it together that evening. Took care of the overflow dvds that had been stacked on the floor so long. I feel much more at ease. Another quickish-feeling day at work yesterday. After work (after passing out for a little bit of a nap), Mary Beth and I went out to the Germantown Community Theatre to see a production of Twelfth Night set in a trailer park. One of my coworkers was in it (Rachel, the drama teacher, a detail I'm sure you'll be surprised to hear). She played Olivia and was really good. The guy who played Malvolio was especially good and the girl who played Viola was good too. Afterwards we went to Huey's but sat an awkward little while without being served or anything so we left and went elsewhere.
I neglected to mention a story in my last posts. Okay, remember that Raymond Scott shirt I lost and then reordered. Well, last week (Friday night, I think) I thought a Swans shirt had turned up missing too (found it a little later had fallen under the bed) anyway, I start looking for it and guess what I IMMEDIATELY find? Yeah, the Raymond Scott shirt that had been missing for nine months or so. I just turn to this chair and it was sitting right there. Like really!? Mary Beth and I had joked that as soon as I bought a new one I'd find the old one. And uh, well, yeah, that happened. Anyway, I do like the original one a little better 'cuz the printing in the new one is a little too red (the wood on the Electronium came out bright red, almost). Mary Beth's happy to have an oversized Raymond Scott shirt as well.
Oh yeah, and it's Friday. And I'm not working. That's right!
