Trapezoid House

Another week under the belt. Went okay, especially that ACT day on Tuesday. Going to all classes every day feels a little hectic but also light in a way. Not a whole lot else to bring up. I did get a good joke in on my students today. We're talking about trapezoids, and this one kid started trying to sneak in trap house jokes. Yesterday there were a couple instances of throwing out the word "trap" and laughing. And today, when introducing the definition and asking students what they know trapezoids to be from their past experiences, he said "it's where rappers get their start." So I told him "your mind's in the trap house." All the students thought it was funny so it was a rare successful joke for me! Now I'm just very happy that it is the day it is and I am where I am.
