Sunday I went over to Josh's. He showed me a few projects he's working on programming. The plan is to work together and I can up my coding skills. Hung out at home afterwards. I did add some effects (delay + pitch shift) to the glockenspiel part on my newest unfinshed song (I think I forgot to add the fact that I recorded this glockenspiel on Friday evening). I also added a part on the cumbus. Yesterday Mary Beth and I ran around a bunch. On our way out we ran into our awesome mail carrier, she said she's gonna be on a new route soon. That's sad. She brought me a package containing a whole slew of 1/8" patch cables I'd just ordered. It was missing one set, so last night I emailed the guy at Control Voltage and he's sending the missing ones out. Alright. Anyway, we're off. We go to the sweets store down the street and the guy running it recognizes us from the gym asking where we'd been. Weird. Hadn't been since school started this year (my gut shows it...my no-longer-hard arms and legs too...). Anyway, a bunch more places. My main goal was Bargain Hunt 'cuz Josh had gotten a Minibrute there for crazy cheap. We went to the two locations but there was nothing that exciting. We wrapped up with dinner at Soul Fish. Started coming down with a cold yesterday. A bit stopped up and congested in the nose. Still carrying over today. I wrote a little song, one of the very last, for my fake soundtrack project. This one's just a little short piece (one track) of eurorack using my new (and old) modules and a slew of patch cables. After that I added vocoder to the other song with all the little accoustic instruments I'd been working on. Now it's Tuesday and I'm hoping to not feel too sick. I bet the tea Mary Beth made for me can carry me through this.
