Earlier this week, in the mail: Bleeding Edge by Thomas Pynchon. Excited for whatever day I'll finally get around to reading it. Also, the other day: Half Japanese: ½ Gentlemen/Not Beasts. Been trying to get this album for years without it being crazy expensive. Well, turns out it had a limited reissue with bonus stuff earlier this year! Anyway, working through the week. Thursday evening was parent conferences. I had a few parents come by. Yesterday was no students, district learning day. Algebra 2 teachers had a thing in Bartlett. I carpooled with Sarah. That was half the day, then our principal was nice and we didn't have to go back for the remainder of the day. We grabbed lunch at ¡Chiwawa!. I spent most of yesterday evening slowly catching up on Breaking Bad some more. Met my dad for lunch at One & Only barbecue. It was good and I'm full. Oh yeah, and the middle of the week was when schedules were adjusted after the other teachers left. Now all my classes are bigger. All but one have over 30 students. Those Bridge Maths were nice so small, but I guess I knew that wouldn't last.
