I did end up playing with my new eurorack a bit yesterday. First I was making a bunch of noise. I recorded three tracks of similar but slightly altared patches. It was fun. A little later, I got the desire to use my setup as a more traditional synth sound (especially tricky as my envelope source is anything but traditional and took a bit of patchwork to get it to respond in a more "normal" manner). I went and added a bass synth part to this song I worked on with the Prophet in the beginnig of summer. I played and played around with it and eventually recorded something, but I'm not terribly happy with it. I have a part in my head, but I can't figure out the notes. Maybe I'll work on getting that down sometime later. What else? Not much, wandering about the apartment in a funk.I forgot to mention a package I got upon arriving back home: Devo: Hardcore (another reissue to re-obtain with bonus tracks!).
