Yesterday we took Mary Beth's car to get inspected. Practically no waiting. We dropped my car to get its tires rotated and aligned and all that junk before I go to Chicago. We had some sandwiches and paletas. A little later we went to the library bookstore and I got a couple: Redburn by Herman Melville and In the Egg and Other Poems by Günter Grass. In the evening I was all badass and composed a ringtone for my phone on my modular and spent a good while getting it on the damn thing. This morning we took Mary Beth's car in. Jacques came over in the evening and we made sure all the gear was ready to go. I also got my hands on one of our very own band shirts. Woo. We made 'em to sell at the show. Then Mary Beth and I spent an evening driving around trying to find this damn sd card for my recorder (it can't take hdsc ones, only the small 2 gb ones). Finally found one at the last minute. Anyway, I should finish packing.
