taco power
Jul. 8th, 2011 09:48 amI got a call from my sister yesterday that she was at Target and had lost her keys and needed me to drive out and get her to get the spare. There was a miscommunication and I ended up driving out to the wrong Target (the one in Germantown near our parents' house versus the one on Germantown Pkwy.) but that ended up being more convenient 'cuz I just went to the house and picked up the spare keys myself and took 'em to her. She was insistant on giving me gas money, but I thought of something better: we were not far from Las Tortugas so I just had her get me some tacos! Mary Beth was happy with the surprise when I came home. We picked her car up from the shop and I took mine in for an oil change and to get the a/c refilled. It had completely stopped working (it had been getting weak for a long time, leading up to that) and having cold air again was AWESOME! It'd been getting tough going around with the windows down in this July weather. And I'm remembering back when the a/c in the Saturn was cracked and I had to give up a/c altogether time. Ugh. Oh, earlier in the morning I bounced the bass down to one track so there's like more space for "Histronics" and stuff. And I got a delivery in the evening: Gil Trythall: Country Moog/Nashville Gold.
