We went to the yoga class at the Y yesterday morning. Turned out the class the guy who gave us our wellness exam told us to go to was the level 2 class. So it was more intensive than the entry-level classes and the instructor's just saying the moves and positions as if everyone knows what she's talking about. I guess most do, but that was the first I'd ever done any sort of yoga. A few of the things completely kicked my ass. We had a little workout on the elipticals afterwards, I got to test out my new mp3 player in action! It's still not full, but I've been working at it. Then in the afternoon we went to the library book sale. We got there kinda late so it was seeming there wasn't much stuff out at first, but after a little while we got to have the joy of "fill a paper sack for $3" so we went into just grab anything remotely interesting and cram it in mode. I only picked out a couple books: The King by Donald Barthelme and Earthly Powers by Anthony Burgess (as well as another book that actually ended up being something I already had, but hey! it's not like I paid extra for it!) Then a peek into the regular library bookstore, I got a couple old math textbooks: Calculus by Deborah Hughes-Hallett, Andrew M. Gleason, et al. and Algebra and Trigonometry by Larson/Hostetler. I also picked up Der Prozess by Franz Kafka (no, I can't read German, but it's fuckin' cool). After that we went to Target and I bought more shorts. I'm enjoying wearing shorts now, I must say. I guess that be it.
