Took care of some paperwork junk yesterday related to getting my license. I also sold my book from last semester. First I went to the damn university store 'cuz I was on campus and what they were gonna give me for it was a joke so I went to the Tiger Bookstore afterwards and got almost twice as much, though still not a ton or nothin'. Then I drove around to some pawn shops but nothin' was to be found. I happened to drive by Burke's so I went in to look for some calculus textbooks or somethin' but they don't really carry textbooks which I found weird. I did pick up a few used books: Wandering Star by J.M.G. Le Clézio, The Hard Life by Flann O'Brien, The Poor Mouth by Flann O'Brien, At War by Flann O'Brien, He Who Searches by Luisa Valenzuela, The Dud Avocado by Elaine Dundy, and Youthful Writings by Albert Camus. Late in the evening, a walk to Yolo for gelato. Then waiting around for Nintendo to finally roll out that 3DS update! Which they finally did. Excitebike (in 3d no less) is currently free so of course I downloaded that. I also bought Art Style: Base 10 (the game that seeing a preview for years ago made me desperately want a DSi). I drake some soda way too late and I couldn't get to sleep. Woke up "late" this morning but still didn't catch up. Then I downloaded two more Art Style games: Boxlife and Aquia. Base 10 is definitely the best, but the others are good too. Aquia is an especially awesome puzzle game. Base 10 is otherworldly.
