wild white horses

yesterday Mary Beth was talking about the synth sound at the end of Portishead's "The Rip" and said i should make it...so i thought it was a good idea and went in the music room, fired up the Minimoog and went at it...then i figured why not play it? so i found the notes and spent most of the afternoon learning the song...i've almost got it, but i'm still pretty rough...there's a lot of notes and changes and stuff for an amateur such as myself, but i feel accomplished having worked at it...my hand was getting a pretty good workout and sore and all...i think trying to play it'll be a pretty good way for me to build some better keyboardin' skills...we went to sleep really early last night though i wasn't even tired, but i managed to get like ten hours of sleep...so that's nice and all...
