met up with Dustin and Courtney and Daphne yesterday for dinner at Dino's...i'd never been there as long as it's been there and as long as i've known about it, don't know why...guess i'm just not wandering around that little corner much...it was really good, their sausage is spectacular...after that, out of boredom, Mary Beth and i went to spin street and i picked up a few used cds: Autechre: Peel Session 2, Boards of Canada: Peel Session, (Artificial Intelligence II), The Fall: A Part of America Therein, 1981 (one i already had on that split with Slates, but then it got reissued separately with bonus tracks, so now i've got those bonus tracks!), Godflesh: Songs of Love and Hate, and Godflesh: Pure...the dude checking me out flipped out over the Boards of Canada and then recommended me a bunch of post rock bands: (God Is an Astronaut, Jakob, 65daysofstatic, and Red Sparowes...he wrote 'em down on a sticky note for me...litened to some Red Sparowes last night and they were okay, kinda by the numbers post rock without many surprises but not bad...)
