yesterday evening Mary Beth and i hung out with Dustin, Courtney, and Daphne and ate some mexican...today we met Molly, Maria, and Lila for lunch at Au Fond...then while we were next door we (Mary Beth and i) stopped into Burke's (even though i just went the other day, though not her...) well, there was some new stuff but mostly the other day i just gave everything a cursory glance and i saw a bunch more stuff, unfortunately, and picked up: Saturday by Ian McEwan, Cosmos by Witold Gombrowicz, The Moor's Last Sigh by Salman Rushdie (i saw this the other day but passed it up thinking i might already have it...i didn't so now i do...), The Universal Baseball Association, Inc., J. Henry Waugh, Prop. by Robert Coover, No Country for Old Men by Cormac McCarthy, The Neon Bible by John Kennedy Toole, The Painted Bird by Jerzy Kosinski, Junior by Macaulay Culkin, Seven Men by Max Beerbohm, Letters to Friends, Family, & Editors by Franz Kafka, My Century by Günter Grass, The Women at the Pump by Knut Hamsun, and Nightwood by Djuna Barnes...well, now we're home and it looks like Trudy's having diarrhea problems about the house so i'd better go...
