results

class again yesterday...not many more left...i got the results of my presentation: 49/50 on the presentation part and 50/50 on the paper...don't think the grading was real strict or anything, but still pretty good..."You had a big of a hard time explaining the concepts easily and you were a little nervous but your information was easy to read" that's the teacher...and a few comments on the peer evaluations: "Good visuals & good job with contrasting the 2 views. Presentation could be smoother & more clear" "Should have been more informed of information. Learn or practice material before presenting." (thought that one was funny...i DID know the material...and i did practice...just having to wait so many hours and being an awkward speaker...well, it was a funny, bitchy comment anyway...the next one is even funnier and bitchier) "Didn't not understand developmental change chart. Presenter did not present that well. Presenter exceeded time limit." (they also circled the part on the form where you grade each component that said "presentation fit within given time limit"...if i was over it wasn't by very much...i know when i did it perfectly it was right at 15 minutes...i'm sure i wasn't perfect, but i doubt i was over one or two minutes...someone was up late and cranky...also just noticed the double negative which makes it even funnier...) "A little lenghty and somewhat confusing. Too much information on slides." (this one was just confusing to me, because if there's ANYTHING i did right it was not having too much information on slides...and i'm not bragging, my slides have so far been the sparest of anyone else in the class...) "Subject was tough but presentation helped me understand" (that was a kind one...) anyway, not that many more actual comments and the few others didn't say much...but i'm pretty pleased...got a good grade and all...

came back home to a package, the rest of this part of my order from Criterion: Orphic Trilogy and Pierrot le Fou (the whole going out of print sale, i still have another part of the order coming too...) i had emailed 'em cuz they were supposed to come with the last dvd, turns out they ended up being backordered though they thought they were available at the time...they gave me a $10 certificate for their store so now i could use some help in picking which Criterion title to buy with it! any suggestions? so many movies for my brain to wrap around...not sure which i want the most right now...anyway, today i went and got an id badge made for my observation at a public school...yeah, i got my background clearance last week but i still haven't been told the school i'm supposed to go to yet...my teacher hasn't received any word yet...and now there's less than two weeks before the paper's due (end of class)...i need to do my observation next week...blah...hopefully there's someone i can bother about it...
