thanksgiving at my parents' yesterday...lots of eating happened...lot of hanging out with and laughing at Jason (too cute!) and doggies that i miss and who miss me...we were over there almost all evening...oh, and i forgot to mention in my last post that i was taking Elizabeth out for a last walk or so and letting her back in, not being used to the cat, Hubcat (didn't know its name at the time) rushed out the door while i was taking her leash off so i flipped out and chased after the cat...she? mostly was running and hiding in the bushes behind their house...i didn't let her out of my sight...pretty much...i think she was mostly just playing, being a feisty young cat and all...finally she walked out into the open and i was able to coax her to come over to me...lucky that she's so friendly...the whole ordeal maybe lasted five minutes so it wasn't too bad...but i was freaking out about losing their cat at first...then i felt better because later when everyone came home i was leaving to go to the store with Justin and his girlfriend and their car wouldn't start and his dad came out and left the door open and Hubcat got out again...when we got bck from the store she was waiting at the door to be let in...
