ended up going to see The Hangover for free last night at the sneak preview or whatever because Paul and Shawna had an extra free pass for two...it's about what i expected, mostly not funny but with a few funny parts...it was worth the price of admission...i had what may have been the best nachos at Huey's ever (and that's saying something!) they were exceptional even for Huey's! so good! and then last night was a weird repository of fucked up news...one, apparently my sister got beat up real bad and was in the hospital and the details surrounding it are (what we've heard, which for me is coming from my parents coming from her husband/friends) sketchy and don't make any sense...two, someone i used to work with was arrested very recently for "rape of a child" and "aggravated sexual battery"...and while not a direct superior, he was the head of another department before they laid everyone off...and while he might have seemed mildly creepy, he was more goofy in that trying too hard to be cool sort of way...i dunno, it's pretty fucked up...i saw his mugshot and everything...i think anyone will look somewhat different and more sinister when "rape of a child" is captioned under their photo...well, i guess this post is over...
