valentines
Feb. 15th, 2009 08:30 pmmy "flex" work scheduled seems to have "fixed" itself into a set formula, as i have the same schedule for like over a month now: 11:30 to 8 thursday through monday...i don't know if i should enjoy that i'll always have two days off in a row or be annoyed that i'll never have a fucking weekend day off...decisions...well, friday i finished reading Complete Works: 1 1954-1960 by Harold Pinter...then at night Mary Beth and i hung out with Dustin and Courtney, Dustin had the idea of doing something cheesy for the holiday and we went and saw that shopaholic movie...not as bad as i expected, but of course i expected the worst thing ever...it was not worse than sex and the city so i guess it exceeded my expectations...yesterday was valentine's day as i'm sure you're aware...i had to work as i'm sure you could deduce from my initial sentence, but after 8 i came home and Mary Beth had cooked a nice dinner for us and we just had a nice at home...i got some presents! woo: The Major Works by Gerard Manley Hopkins, Heart of a Dog by Mikhail Bulgakov, and Amerika: the Missing Person by Franz Kafka ("a new translation, based on the restored text") and then today i finished reading Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco...now i'm hungry...
