the visit's over, Mary Beth's parents are back in Rochester...last night we all went to my parents' house for further parental interaction...their flight was this morning so we woke up early to see them off...we had breakfast at Donald's Doughnuts which i'd never been to at least under its current name not counting Howard's Doughnuts...they have breakfast tacos which is pretty interesting...anyway after the airport i went back home and slept some...got to see snow this morning which i wouldn't've had i not waken up so early at least i don't think...Mary Beth needed to go to the library so i spent some time in the bookstore while she was in the actual library...i got a bunch of books which i guess i should't've but i did anyway: Out of Africa and Shadows on the Grass by Isak Dinesen, The Awakening and Other Stories by Kate Chopin, The Good Soldier Švejk by Jaroslav Hašek, The Family of Pascal Duarte by Camilo José Cela, Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller, Haroun and the Sea of Stories by Salman Rushdie, Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri, The Gospel According to the Son by Norman Mailer, this box set of books by Evelyn Waugh (A Handful of Dust, The Loved One, Black Mischief, Scoop, Vile Bodies, Officers and Gentlemen, and Brideshead Revisited) , The History of Sexuality Volume 1: an Introduction by Michel Foucault, The History of Sexuality Volume 2: the Use of Pleasure by Michel Foucault, On Writing and Politics 1967-1983 by Günter Grass, The Flounder by Günter Grass, Love by Toni Morrison, and Platitudes by Trey Ellis...then i went to check out the books Mary Beth picked out by my library card is no longer good (hadn't used it in years and years) so i got a new one...that's my excitement for now...
