preparation
Mar. 1st, 2007 01:58 pmlast night Jacques and i got together again and practiced our Silkworm cover and we're pretty dern together so i'm feeling alright about the show on saturday...my only concern is we'll be playing other people's equipment and hopefully a guitar/distortion pedal i'm not used to won't mess me up...but i'm not TOO concerned about that...we have our hotel reserved, hoorah...i just got my oil changed...all ready for the drive...then while i was across the street i stopped by the library bookstore and picked up a few: As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner (i technically already have this, but inside a Norton anthology so i've wanted a nice separate copy to look impressive on my bookshelf), Cancer Ward by Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Gulliver's Travels and Other Writings by Jonathan Swift, Four Plays by Eugène Ionesco, No Exit and Three Other Plays by Jean-Paul Sartre, and Maggie: a Girl of the Streets (a Story of New York) by Stephen Crane...
