the birthday party yesterday was pretty frickin' awesome...it was in honor of me and Mary Beth (originally Jason too, but he had family stuff and couldn't make it...) we went to overton park and there was barbecue and Josh brought a grill and cooked burgers and it was awesome...there was tahitian treat too! we played frisbee (and today, to show how pathetically out of shape i am, our frisbee throwing has my muscles sore...) and i got presents! from Mary Beth: an awesome shirt that i'm wearing right now that just has pixilated blocks on it (apparently there's another present on the way too...i like more presents!), from Paul and Katie: Radio Engineering, from David: Congotronics 2: Buzz'n'Rumble from the Urb'n'Jungle and Boris with Merzbow: Sun Baked Snow Cave, from Josh and Molly and Dustin: New Super Mario Bros. (yes, i got it the day before from my parents, but after work tonight i went and exchanged it and NOW they got me: Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow also for the DS), from Jacques and Amber: 5 buttons for my messenger bag, The Box Man by Kobo Abe, Merzbow: Pulse Demon, and another awesome t-shirt that has Moog schematics and some minimoog pictures and it says "You gave us electronic music as we know it thank you" and as cool as i'm sure that sounds it looks even cooler in person...Brad brought Jibbles along and Justin was there and the weather was perfect and it was a pretty awesome day...thanks to Amber again for planning the whole thing...i guess that's all...thanks to everyone who came...uh, one sweet birthday thingamajiggie...
