The Family Ghost show #25 and some more pointless information...

this morning i did something i haven't done in years...i overslept...like i got up when my alarm went off turned it off and went right back to sleep...by a miracle i made it to work on time...i happened to be half awake and surface the vague memory of doing the aforementioned act of stupidity so i jumped and looked at the alarm and it was RIGHT at the time i should have been driving away...so i threw on clothes real fast and rushed off to work, obviously skipping eating/shower/etc...so that was pretty damned lame...oh, and in the rush i forgot my banana too so i only had half a lunch...poor poor poor me...on the plus side Mary Beth picked up a package for me at the post office today and it as it contained This Heat: Out of Cold Storage box set, that's really fuckin' swell!

so The Family Ghost played a show tonight...almost no one was there, but that's okay...we played:

oh, i guess i should mention the other bands we played with...Leaving July sounded just like their name...The Taste of Silver was fucking awesome! i bought two of their cds (a split with a band called Raising Kubrick and their own cd Eight Hundred Mountains, Eight Hundred Messages...writing that just now was the first time i'd looked at the title...i like that title a lot! how bout that?) anyway, that band i'm in was neither at our best nor worst...we haven't practiced since before like 2 shows ago (not counting tonight or the house show)...so yeah...i took off half a day tomorrow...i don't go in til 2:30...how bout that?
