not pathetic...

an awesome, fun weekend of sitting around at home alone doing almost nothing! yeah! today i made flyers for The Family Ghost's upcoming show and did the rounds at the record stores putting 'em up...we had set up a show for may (may 15th to be exact! at murphy's! that's a week from monday...please come if you're in town, pretty please...) we didn't have anyone to play with, but it was set up for some other reason that's not worth going into full detail right here we set up a show in may...well, we weren't able to find anyone to play with us so hey it's the live debut of The Pocket Protectors! (though David will be out of town, we'll have him with us on tape!) so everyone should come see this pathetic attempt at setting up a show! it won't cost ya anything or nothin'! come help us not feel so much like jackasses or something...i mean, of course we'll be playing spectacular music, but no one cares about that so no one will be there anyway...which is a shame, for everyone else...i promise...anyway, i picked back up on A Link to the Past which i hadn't played in forever (it's a game i've been playing off and on with iterspersed between months of forgetting about it...) made a wee bit of progress...isn't that swell? oh yeah, and i'll be going to dallas next month to see Sonic Youth...hooray for me...
