there was somewhat of a practice on sunday...Brad was moving and didn't show up...but Josh did (even though he didn't really end up having anything to do...other than discuss, etc...) but we recorded Jacques' vocals on "Phantom Limb" (now all songs have their singin'...) and we fixed one part on his guitar on that song...(i think we forgot another one...we'll take care of that...each "part" is just three notes, it went without a hitch sunday so it should be easy going back to it...) also, before they came over i added a sparse background with the ARP Avatar via Sequencer on "The Yellow Light"...afterwards Jacques and i went to the hi-tone...we were gonna see the Anique Curtains since we'll be playing with 'em in a couple weeks...but i had work in the morning and the show started too late (of course)...i did catch most of the band they were playing with's set: Half Acre Gunroom...dear lord were they bad...very, uh Heartland...sounding just like Bob Seger, Bruce Springsteen, and John Mellencamp...especially Bob Seger...yeah...Jacques dropped me off when it neared my bedtime and returned alone...i've been working overtime again this week...the same as last...after getting off last night i went to Spin Street...i picked up:

the dvd box set was only $30 (and it contains the 2 disc version of Raging Bull, which by itself was $25...i'm thinking either there was a mistake or the set was on sale...either way i decided i'd better hurry and get it...but it's like getting the Raging Bull special edition plus 3 more discs for an extra $5? yes, i say...$30 would be worth it just for 2 discs of Raging Bull anyhow...) and the cd was used so it was a nice night for getting stuff...work was nice too...i finished reading Zuckerman Unbound by Philip Roth...then i worked overtime again today...uh...i guess that's all...
