thursday night Justin came over...hadn't seen him in a while, with his jetsetting around the country...we didn't really do much...uh...yeah...then last night Jason and Amanda came over...we did even less...but at least now that my internet's back we can all turn to that and pretend like we're doing something...so that's swell...uh...today the cable dude came over...it was early and i was still asleep so when Tim woke me up to tell me he was here ('cuz the modem's in my room) i put on my robe and continued sleeping on the couch in the living room...i slept through it all so i'm not sure if he tricked the guy into getting our basic cable back on or not...i guess time will tell...

i just wrote this new song thing today...guitar part anyway...i wrote it on the guitar that Tim gave me for christmas, and the neat special tuning i gave it...it's about the guitar itself...mostly as a means of thanking Tim for it, as you may have guessed by now...it's pretty simple, uh, i guess that's all...the lyrics are a pretty small part of the song though, you know, since it's about the guitar i'll just LET THE GUITAR SPEAK FOR ITSELF!!! THAT'S RIGHT!!! and it sort of sounds like "Schizophrenia" at least the part where the singing happens...hopefully not TOO much...but, uh, i guess can't deny at least SOME resemblance...though usually when a part that sounds like one thing gets incorporated into the band, it sounds like something completely different by the time the song's fully written...so, uh, i guess that's enough about THAT...
