the other day i decided that the really sweet (even though it fucking PISSED on my jacket this morning...) grey kitten that belongs to Tim (the roommate dude that doesn't actually live with us right now...) has too stupid of a name, it's named after some gay anime character (as is his other, white cat) so i renamed it: Billl...much better...i didn't rename the other one though...maybe i will later...

friday after work i stopped by Jason's work and picked up a few cds:
Television: Marquee Moon (the reissue of course, so i got to have the joy of purchasing that great record all over again...)

Speedking: The Fist and the Laurels
and a dvd:

after that i went by Turtle's where i got another dvd:
Devo: The Complete Truth about De-Evolution
later Jason and Amanda came over...we watched the Devo video and maybe some other stuff...pizza was eaten as well...radical...

last night i fetched Justin from the confines of his home and brought him over to Jason/Amanda's apartment...Brad was there...we watched Quick Change...i saw two nutsacks...wore a denim jacket...it was a wild rockin' night...oh yeah...and earlier, before i went out, i got my Wasp synth in working order again...i'm extremely pleased about that...it came in handy for events that transpired today...

those events being The Family Ghost practicing...it went very well...so well that i'll say it again...very well...Josh wrote a new part for "A Series of False Starts"...he had been playing guitar but he switched over to the keyboard today....he wrote a nice part on the string synth...then he doubled it up on the Wasp...it sounded frickin' awesome with the two synths going at once...and the working state of the Wasp also meant that we were able to play "Taken" for the first time in a good while...this evening, while watching The Simpsons, i also wrote lyrics to the new song...i'll post 'em in separately in a jiff...
