cars and other stuff...
Sep. 22nd, 2003 08:23 pmlet's see...saturday, i sat around for a while...most of the day...then my dad came home and he helped me move some stuff...so now my bed's at the new place so i guess i'm officially living there and stuff...cool...i missed out on the free Billy Idol show in Tunica, but that's okay 'cuz i was moving and it was worth it to finally get my bed down there...Brad, Jason, and Amanda came back from the show and we hung out for a while...Jamie came over too...he ended up passing out on my bed...so my first night at the new apartment with my bed and i didn't sleep on it...just a drunken Jamie...but that's cool...after he had passed out i went over to Amdanda/Jason's with them...i slept on their couch...
the next day we all woke up late...went went out to Cuisine of India where we met Jamie and Matt...i'd never eaten at that indian place before...it was good...then since we were in the Barlett area we went over to Amanda's mom's house and hung out with Pig Dog for a while...later we hung out at Donnie's...Brad came over too...uh, nothing too eventful...after a while Jason, Amanda, and i went back to my apartment...i hooked the tv up in my room and we watched some La Blue Girl...wackiness...and then i slept on my own bed in my own apartment...it was pretty rad...
i didn't get much sleep but i managed to wake up this morning and went to work...(i logged into the computer 5 seconds late...that'd better not fucking count against me...) this was in part due to some car problems...i drove the ol' saturn for the first time since i'd gotten it out of the shop...the radiator's still cracked and it was overheating bad...i was scared i wasn't going to make it...when i stopped at lights and stuff i'd shut the engine off to keep it from running sitting still too much...and getting off the interstate right around the corner from my work, at the light there, it wouldn't start back up again at first 'cuz it was so overheated and shit...though after a few tries i got it going (i pissed the people behind me off...fuck them...) i luckily managed to make the light...i left my car up at work and had my mom pick me up...dad's out of town for a few days so i can borrow her car while she uses my dad's...so i'll have something while i get my car fixed...i guess i'll have it towed somewhere tomorrow morning before work...fun stuff...
