Aug. 28th, 2003 08:28 pmwent to Neil's for karaoke last night...at first i was in a pretty upset mood and didn't feel like singing...mostly concerns involving the prospective new place the other guys had looked at that day and various issuses i was having with things involved and mental/moral conflicts on a few fronts...but i started feeling better and ended up singing "Heroes" (yea, The Wallflowers bad version...but it's still fun to pretend i'm singing the Bowie song...) i also talked in length to Jason for the second time...that was pretty cool...Jason is a cool dude, yo...

i had to leave to go home early 'cuz we were meeting with the guy about the apartment this morning at 8am...so i got little sleep and made it out there (though i was late 'cuz i couldn't find my house key...didn't find it 'til i got back...) the place is pretty nice...3 bedrooms...big living room...2 bathrooms...sun room we will prob'ly turn into a study...dining room which we will hopefully be able to use as a rock'n'roll room if all goes well...my doubts were won over and hopefully things will go as planned...we signed the lease and paid the deposit/first month's rent...we can move in saturday...oh, i feel i should mention that there's a kitchen too...i'm sure it's assumed, but i listed every other room (aside from the "breakfast area" that's more like just a slightly wider hallway into the kitchen...) it has a nice location too...equidistant from Jacques/Amber's and Shade/Tish's...this distance being that of walking as well...
after that i went to work...cutegirl didn't sit next to me today though...maybe she was already sitting in her elsewhere...maybe not...oh well, maybe one day i'll get to talk to her...(i mean, while working you can't leave your seat or talk while on a call so you can only talk to people next to you while both of you are not currently on a call...so it's like not much room for talkin' and uh bustin' a move...(the joke there being that i'm capable of such a thing...talking to a girl, that is...)) uh...i think i'm out of stuff to blather about...over and out, ya'll...
