tool 4 skool

my second programming assignment was due today...in my usual form, i barely did shit...i didn't even get around to starting it 'til last night...and i really didn't even then...really just today...and even while "working" on it this morning i still spent most of the time goofing off...it's fucking pathetic...right now there are no other classes i'm taking...i have no job to otherwise keep me occupied...in fact, there is absolutely NOTHING ELSE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD THAT I HAVE TO DO AT ALL OTHER THAN THIS ONE CLASS and i still can't manage to make myself do the work...i did manage to throw some shit together...most of the time i was working was spent going through my books trying to figure out what the hell's going on...programming is hard and stuff...also, for some reason i can't compile it...i get an error in one of the libraries it gets linked to...i don't know if it's an error in the library or my compiler, but at any rate, i can't even run it to see what, if anything, my program actually does...the best i can do is debug it to make sure it doesn't have any typo-oriented mistakes...i'm pretty certain it doesn't work...although as to what i have right and what i don't i can't be sure...so i'm blind in that respect on top of the whole blindness concerning actually knowing how to program...at least i think what i managed to throw together has something resembling something correct at least in parts...but in class he said it'll be on time as long as it's in his email box by the time he checks it when he gets to school tomorrow morning...so i do actually have some time! my plan is to go up to the school...i'm sure the compiler there has to work right...i might not get the whole thing working, but at least that should help me get closer sometime durring the night...and keeping in tradition w/ my normal scholarly discipline, after class i went over to Justin's...i did a little bit of tree climbing (a lost art i plan on getting back into...) other forms of sitting around were also had...a trip to KFC for the partaking of boneless honey barbecue goodness...he went to bed and now i'm back here...also this morning, i was stabbed in the foot by a giant splinter...the bottom of my foot's been a little sore today...bollocks to that...
