a little dirty...

i ended up sleeping for 13 hours or so...after two days of being very tired...i've pretty much just been sitting around...listening to random music...i'm thinking this may very well keep me from ever doing anything again...Eraserhead dvd showed up today...i watched most of the documentary thingie...(not quite a documentary...just David Lynch talking about a bunch of stuff w/ still photos being shown of relevant stuff...) didn't get the chance to finish it...hopefully i will soon...and watch the actual movie...[drool] i almost forgot something else i was gonna talk about: the issue of special packaging...there seems to be this mindset that if something's specially packaged, then it's automatically a good thing...take this dvd for example: it's in this gigantic cardboard box, the disc fits in it REALLY awkward-like...(it's coming apart where it holds it too...) i mean, on one level it's kind've cool, but it's more annoying than anything else...(same w/ the Savage Republic box set...i won't go into that, but i listen to cds mostly in my car...those discs are a big hassle to get out of the packaging...especially when driving...) this dvd won't fit on any shelves, i guess the size is for the big booklet...but that could've been done to fit in a normal packaging...and it's just plain annoying the way the disc is put in it...blah...i've gone on about that enough...i was scheduled to close tonight, but i have class tomorrow and i'm not supposed to do that...someone else worked for me though...my schedule was already light this week...i'm barely working at all...good and bad...but i'm feeling lazy so i'll take it as good...oh yea, i also changed my lj bio thingie...it's amusing me right now anyway...

i guess i'll do this chronologically, and not according to what's most on my mind...well, was up very late, trying to go to sleep but unable...i almost overslept for class...i would have if not for my mom who woke me up right at the minute i should have been leaft by...so i ran out w/out bathing or anything and went and was only a little late...we got our midterm back...i got an 82...then back home where i napped some more...woke up to watch The Simpsons, but i really just lay in bed listening to it...i'd seen it enough that i knew all of what was going on...yea...then i've been sitting around here...blah blah, not much going on, until like 10-15 min ago i talked to Dan on AIM...it seems my name has been crossed off the schedule at work...which equates to me having been fired...i wish i knew what the fuck THAT was about...well, i'm guessing i do...i guess it has to do w/ my not working monday night...but, as you may have read, someone else worked for me and i was told not to worry about that...so that should be fine, if not for the fact that Camy is an insane cunt...so i guess i'm unemployed now...i called the store right after Dan told me and talked to Cat...she said "you'll have to talk to Camy, i can't say anything"...fucking wonderful...i guess i'll go up there tomorrow at my "scheduled" time to door hang to see what the hell's going on...
