"i reached out for the one i tried to destroy"

partook in a bit of an online spend-frenzy last night...first at Moog Music, Inc. where i bought 2 expression pedals, a Moog logo shirt, and a bumpersticker proclaiming "My other guitar is a theremin." (no, i don't own a theremin, but that's one of the coolest stickers ever...) then by amazon where i bought Wendy Carlos' Switched On Box Set and A Clockwork Orange score...this afternoon i swung by the practice space...i attempted fixing my amp's speaker w/ duct tape but couldn't find any tears or anything and wasn't able to do anything...i guess i'll just have to get it fixed for real...bollocks! i was hoping for the easy, cheap fix...i stopped by Jacques'...we watched part of The Street Fighter...tacos were had...more teevee was watched...now i'm back home...i do need to get caught up on some reading before class tomorrow...as we'll begin talking about code...i don't want to be lost...
