screwing up/rocking out

so the hw that was due friday that got postponed 'til monday in a stroke of luck on my part never got done...i started far too late sunday night and realized i was really tired and that the hw was really difficult and long...so i skipped that first class...on the path to academic success i tell ya...after class i went over to Jacques'...Keith came over too...then we went to the Storage USA and got us a fuckin' practice space...fuck yea...afterwards we went to Target and got the needed objects for being able to plug power strips in through the light socket...then work...afterwards i hung out w/ Brad some...i got home and there was this survey thing about college students and drinking and stuff...i thought, why not, and i filled it out...pretty long, but being a non-drinker i didn't have to answer lots of the longer questions, just check the "i abstain from drinking go to next question" or whatever it said thingie...yea, exciting stuff, i know...in trying to maximize sleep in lieu of the getting-ready ritual, passed up taking a shower so i feel all icky...

actually, i originally got a 92% on the quiz, but one of their answers was wrong...according them "I like books, movies, and cooking." is an incorrect sentence when, in fact, it's a perfectly correct sentence...i'm guessing since "I like books, movies and cooking." is also correct, they assumed the comma before "and" is wrong...but THEY'RE wrong...i wrote 'em an email...that'll show 'em who the fuckin' grammar nerd is!

and here's the stupid story behind my email writing: just as i finished, before i sent it, the fucking power went out (as it apparently did earlier today while i was at school...) it pissed me off, i was relaxing, writing a dorky email, listening to Street Hassle when suddenly it was pitch black...i was searching for my phone to use its dim, green light but couldn't find it...it came back on shortly thereafter, but i had to rewrite the email...bugger technology!

it's snowing...

i didn't even realize this...i guess that's why the power keeps going out...bollocks...snow hopes: 1) classes will be cancelled tomorrow (yea right), 2) it'll be snowing tomorrow night while i'm working so i'll make a bunch of money...snow's kind've cool, but like, warmth is even cooler...
