Fuck was really good last night...you may feel free to read my "review" of it here, if you so desire...i took cap'n Justin along w/ me...The Satyrs opened...and it sucks to know that it was the drummer's last show w/ the band...her drumming is great and very much helps to make the band...oh well...i videotaped Fuck, but i wish i knew it'd be The Satyrs last night w/ beforehand 'cuz i would've taped them too...i'll say it again, oh well...i'll list the merch i procured again: the new album (Cupid's Cactus), what i'm listening to now (a comp of b-sides and rarities w/ two videos), "special" edition of Conduct (the cd's packaged in a random children's book...each one's different...mine's a Teletubbies coloring activity book: Laa-Laa Gets a Guitar), and a shirt...sorry if you actually read my "review" and had to read that twice...no wait, i'm not...i guess i'm done for now...leave for class again in less than an hour...blah...woo...yea...

on my way back from my operating systems class i got the "Velvet Underground" boxers (for those who might've missed my first mention of this, boxers by the Andy Warhol Foundation and they've got the banana thingie that's on the cover of the Velvet Underground's first album on them...) i forgot to mention earlier about my taping of the Fuck show...it prob'ly sucks...when they first started hardly anyone was standing so i went up against the wall to tape, get a wider view, better sound, but then slowly ppl started getting in front of me...and i had forgotten about adjusting the brightness until a few songs into it and it was really dark at first...but ooh well...

also, everyone should go to www.smellslikerecords.com and get The Clears' first album...you deserve it, a treat to yourself...they're great synth pop from Memphis (well, until they broke up, unfortunately...) and i think most synth pop's pretty crappy...(nothing to do w/ the synths...me likee synths...it's just the music lumped into that genre is usually pretty shite...trying to relive the 80s...even (and especially) the parts that sucked about that damned decade...or it's the original crap from that damned decade...but i'll stop this rant...) but yea...The Clears fucking ruled...although their album is nothing compared to how great they were live...but unforunately we ain't got no more of that...but the album's still great...and it's only $10, shipping included...and while you're there you shoud prob'ly look into some Two Dollar Guitar as well...(Burned and Buried being one of the greatest albums ever...) but enough advertising...i just feel that The Clears don't have the appreciation they deserve...outside of Memphis...(though Steve Shelley knows what's up...maybe that should be an add: he likes it! Steve Shelley likes it!)
