making arrangements

the other day Dale also mentioned the fact that you can get a week pass for the NYC metro system...so i tracked down the website and found they have 7 day unlimited passes for $17...sweet...and i tried ordering 'em online but something must be down 'cuz i keep getting an error message and it tells me to try again later...grrr...i also called the Knitting Factory to order the tickets but they stop selling 'em at 4pm e.s.t. and i called like 3:30 (here)...so i guess i'll be doing that tomorrow...tomorrow David and i are getting together after my morning classes so we can plan...i guess we'll get the hostile arrangements made as well...in other news, today we got our calc exams back...i did terribly...w/ the take-home part (which i did really really bad on) included, i got a 62...(which comes out as a c...but still...that just sucks ass...) and now my average is a 76 (which comes out as a b...damnit...) i need to like actually study now...so my average doesn't keep plummeting...i'm guessing that's counting the homework too, but i'm not sure if it is or it's just the two exams...i also need the new Fuck album...what a wonderful band...but i guess it'll haveta wait 'til after New York...

i was able to order our 7 day unlimited metro passes for NYC online...so that's cool...we've gotten a good array of recommendations of record stores to go to...several of which have been recommended by multiple ppl (especially Other Music...) we're getting well on our way to rock...and stuff...also, today i started up an lj community: Art Punk, so ummm...if you like art punkish stuff you should like come join it and stuff...yea...(my desperate plea...)

i meant to post this earlier but i've kept forgetting so i'll post it now: saturday night i had this dream where i (and maybe some other ppl) went to this Sonic Youth show, but there were only 3 ppl including myself, i believe...i was all confused as to why so few ppl showed up at a Sonic Youth show, but then we found out there was this tornado happening...and i hung out w/ Thurston some...and he was being all wacky...that's all i remember...thrilling stuff...
