finshed Beloved last night...i thought it was good and very well written (despite Jacques' claims that she(Toni Morrison)'s a joke-writer...) having finished everything that i *had* to finish early, i went to bed early (a little after 11)...i took some Ny-Quil 'cuz my nose was mildly stuffy...i was barely able to wake up this morning...i was fucking dead the first few hours of the day...i guess the medicine was still being effective over 9 hours later...after class i checked to see how much money i had in the bank (aprox. $44) and went to Consignment to pay off part of ($40) the bass i have on layaway...the 30 days of layaway end the 11th...i hope i can get it out in time...$130 is left...then i went to Martin Music out in Cordova 'cuz they're having this contest where 6 ppl or so get drawn to throw a guitar and the person who can throw it the farthest wins a guitar...i wrote my name on some card and hopefully i'll win end up winning (though doubtfully...) my main problem now is i have to be there monday at 1 and i have class then...we're just doing group presentations and my group's is on wed. so maybe i can get out of it for my slim chance at a free guitar...then i came home and i've just been sitting here and i watched that show that i always watch like the little nerd that i am...

[this is what happened when i, out of stupid, bored curiosity, put my story into babelfish to translate it...*of course* this is NOT an accurate translation...who's doing what is completely skewed and what actually happens is drastically altared by this switching around of who did what...it also didn't seem to like object pronouns being attached to the end of verbs when they're supposed to be...as well as a few other words it couldn't translate and some funny translations...well, enjoy...i'll add the proper translation later...oh yea...it also treated questions as statements...and most of the puncation is funny...now]:

Elena was leading to the field with the corpse of his better friend who she killed two hours ago with the wood leg of her sofa in her maletero when a police stopped " Would see it its license and registry " " Yes, Sir. There is a problem " ". " He back took them and he walked to the part of of his car illuminating a lantern. Few moments " What is it " It opened his back door and it raised a plastic stock market, filled up with marijuana " is not mia " It was not " Encérrate " It cried. " This will not seem good in your criminal records. but I know as I can ayudarte.. " A sickly smile esbelta and extended of its lips. It took hold in the later seat of the car of the police, starting his pantaletas. Elena shouted when she entered it. Later, he buried the corpse and he returned to his house. Acurracádose in its bed, thanked for the police by making realize it person who it is truely. It hoped that it would also realize this.

[as a side note(god i'm fond of that phrase): the babelfish experience gave me a good opportunity for spell/grammar checking...while it itself is not a great translator, the results of what it can/cannot/can-but-oddly translate did help me to see what i've done wrong (sometimes) and to investigate the errors further elsewhere...that's all...]
