live tapes

i'm going back and watching the SYR show even though when you play tapes back on the camera it gets all these lines everywhere...i need to get my mom to get that adapter for the 8mm tapes to vhs...watching the show should improve my mood though...it's already started to...

well, on the louder bits on the tape, the audio gets all staticy...otherwise everything would be coming in perfectly clear...this didn't happen to my Knoxville/Atlanta tapes...i don't see how incorporating a better microphone would make things worse, i'm guessing the connection somewhere is crappy...maybe the input jack or something...i dunno...bollocks...maybe it's the connection playing back (it's a possibility since the video playing back on this camera's messed-up, like i said...) i've got my fingers crossed for that option...time shall soon tell, i guess...

giving up...

i'm going to sleep now...i can't stand bearing this tape too much longer...i needed to be a sleep some hours ago for work in the morning...but i'm not too tired since i haven't been up that long...but i can't let my mood go spiraling downward (please do NOT interpret as a stupid NIN reference...) along w/ this tape's audio quality (it's not THAT bad, but it's bad enough to completely foul my mood up...) what crap...(well, i think i'll stick around to watch Kim attack me since Kool Thing just started...at least the audio can't ruin that great vision...)

i was able to finish 2001: A Space Odyssey at work today...quite the amazing book...i'm gonna haveta pick up 2010 as soon as i can...after work, i took my mom's car to get the oil changed, then mine...when i got to the place w/ my car, it was closed...so it's another night alone at home for me...i also went to Wolf Video and they said that no such adapter for 8mm to vhs exists and i have to just use the camera (which, as i have said, is the source of the problem...) that's all...
