Final Dream

At night Mary Beth and I went up to Paradiso to see a Met Op transmission of a pretty new piece called El Último Sueño de Frido y Diego (music composed by Gabriela Lena Frank). It was good, I enjoyed the music. The opera was structured like a dream and the music was pretty dream-like (I mean, hence the title and all) and modernist. We ended being seated next to this older German lady who always goes to these things and I think she said something about not liking this one.
