The plumber came by in the early afternoon to fix the shower apparently leaking into the basement a whole bunch (again). Didn't take too long, hopefully it's fixed up pretty good. After work, Mary Beth and I did another walk around the neighborhood. I finished reading Europe Central by William T. Vollmann and it was a really really good book! It's a big serious weighty tome (I mean, there's humor too) though it's a bit hard to pin down as it's more encyclopedic than anything. At night, Mary Beth and I watched this debate for the upcoming county mayor election. I guess I got more information on the candidates than the almost scant zero I'd had beforehand. Still not completely sure. Oh yeah, and Matador did get back to me and they're sending the correct Water from Your Eyes cd and I can keep the other one they sent by accident. That's convenient! Hopefully it lives up to the other album. In my last post I forgot to share the recording of my show that I'd put up on bandcamp, so here's that:
