The Thing Wherein

Mary Beth and I went up to Hattiloo to see this play called Jaja's African Hair Braiding (written by Jocelyn Bioh who also wrote that African Mean Girls play we saw either last season or the one before). It was really good. It's only from a few years ago, but its theme of immigration (well, U.S. policy towards immigrants) have only gotten even more timely thanks to our chief turd's second term. Later at night we did more Treehouse of Horror watching (this time without the nachos but we were eating other food so it was all okay). I woke up a little early today 'cuz my back was sore so that's annoying.

I forgot to mention in my last post that on our way back from the hot air balloon festival we swung by Winchester Farmers Market. So we got a few things and I found where the Mexicokes were hiding so could finally get some as I couldn't find them last time I was there. It probably would have been best had I found them then 'cuz they've gotten SO expensive now (another thanks to the aforementioned turd and dumbass tariffs). Anyway, at least I'm set for a while.
