Splendid

Not a whole lot from yesterday. At night Mary Beth and I played a couple games of Splendor and that was fun. We hadn't really played any tabletop games at all in a long time. I forgot to mention in my last post how at the family reunion thing, my dad told me about this guy who we both know, he was a former coworker of mine and his son had been in cub scouts with Anthony so they knew each other from that. This guy is also in a very popular local band that makes roots type music. At some point I guess my dad mentioned my experimental music and he called it fake music. Not really surprising, given the music he makes, and also, while he's always been pretty nice to me in person, he's also always been a little bit patronizing. Anyway, just kind of amusing.
