After work I went and made the biweekly TFM run. Then in the evening I went to Crosstown for this Chris Stamey show in the Green Room. When I got there, Alex and Lichi were at the door and super nice greeting me and then Alex let me in without paying and it was exceedingly nice and it also made me feel a little awkward. The opener was this folky singer-songwriter who played violin and had a backing back and some of it was nice but a lot of it had that kind of that half-rap folk coffee shop thing that isn't for me. Chris was alright, some of the songs were quite nice and some not my thing, but he had a mini-orchestra backing him up and Catie was on flute and Jonathan was on cello so wanted to see them play too and that was cool. Not much else right now.
