Mom's Home

In the evening Mary Beth and I went together to visit my mom at the hospital. We got to the hospital and her room and it was empty and looked to have signs of having been vacated. When I talked to my dad a few hours before he was saying they might get discharged today but there was a lot of things to go through and wasn't sure yet. I told him I'd planned on coming over so let me know if she was discharged (but I understand there's a lot going on on their end to remember that). Anyway, I find out she was in fact discharged and at home. So since we were out there we went by to visit her there. She has an adjustable bed much like a hospital bed set up now. So we stayed and visited for a while. Mom, dad, Christina, and Anthony were there. She had only gotten home not a whole lot before we got there. While we were the the hospice nurse came by. It was the introductory visit so she got into some pretty heavy stuff getting the information for things like funeral arrangements and all that. Mom does seem a lot happier at home than at the hospital at least. I guess that's about it for now.

I'm glad she's home. I hate that you have to go through all of that. It just sucks, but you'll make it!
