Flyers, CDs, and Hot Asses

I got delivered yesterday: Lou Reed: Hudson River Wind Meditations. Been on the lookout for this for almost a year and didn't even realize that in the meantime it got reissued a few months ago! Well, I figured it out and now I've finally got it! I went and printed and put up some flyers for the next MC show around. I added Otherlands to the rotation. While I was at Goner, I picked up a few used cds: Grifters: Crappin' You Negative, Grifters: The Eureka E.P., and A Silver Mt. Zion: "This Is Our Punk-Rock," Thee Rusted Satellites Gather+Sing,. One little anecdote from the other day. I made a little joke. Mary Beth had mentioned Duchamp's Mona Lisa joke and the hot ass and all that. So I said something along the lines of "Gioconda's got a motor in the back of her Honda." Is this my most successful blend of high and low brow into a joke? Well, Mary Beth thought it was funny anyway!
