Later in the night, we watched a little Pitchfork documentary about Slowdive/Souvlaki. Now it's a weekday morning and I'm not ready to go back to work! Oh well, here I go! Also, a small dumb detail I forgot to mention, during the opening band's set, at one point towards the end the guitarist broke a string and had to change guitars, so I made the dumb joke "we pound these guitars like fucking jackhammers" (see, funny because they were so smooth sounding and it's funny that he even managed to break a string...it was also weird that he had to spend so much time retuning between every song...did they have alternate tunings? it didn't really sound like it...).
