Boring Weather Talk

The winter wonderland conditions continue. Yesterday it rained and the temperatures were a little above freezing for at least part of the day. All that just made the roads/ground much worse as the snow's all still there but now congealed into ice and I heard word that the roads were especially bad. Since the bathroom I shave in is a weird uninsulated add-on to the house, the pipes in there always freeze up first. So I figured I'd just wait it out and get all scruffy. But yesterday was a bit of a reprieve and the water was running again in there so I figured I'd take advantage and get a bit of a shaving break. So I did that in the late afternoon after work. I didn't mention my brush in my post about getting my new shaving gear. It's mostly the same as before, but my brush is now synthetic. It's a little bit of a different feel from the badger brush but it's not a big difference and no badgers have to die just so my face can be lathered! Progress! After yesterday's (albeit rainy) reprieve, it's supposed to get super cold again so we're in for at least a few more days of this. At night Mary Beth and I watched more Barbara Hammer movies.
