I went and picked the car up from the shop yesterday morning and it's good to have it back. I got in the mail where they sent me the replacement copy of the cd I got with the wrong disc in the case. So now I have for realsies John Carpenter and Alan Howarth: They Live soundtrack. Also, they sent a case for the one I had the wrong disc of: Dennis McCarthy: V: the Final Battle soundtrack. I wasn't familiar with this one. I saw that the composer had done a lot of the later Star Trek scores so I think it might be along those lines and knowing that the V thing was sci-fi as well. I was thinking it was from the 90s though but it's from 84 and so I was pleasantly surprised to check it out a little and hear some of that 80s soundtrack sound with some of the cool sounding electronics and stuff. So pretty excited to hear this for realsies. Not much else. At night Mary Beth and I watched a bunch of Sex and the City and that's about it for now.
