ateolf: (Mission of Blurma)

I've mostly got my weight-assigning program working. Think I have the last or most of the data issues fixed. For the most part it's correctly recognizing and identifying box sets as well as multiple versions of the same album. (I still have some thinking to do on the rare case I have multiple versions of the same album and one is multi-disc, I think it will involve renaming some of the folders though, but I need to think on it some.) Just a few edge cases left and the issue when the disc has a different artist than the set it's part of (for example, a various artists box set, but one disc is attributed to a specific artist...not super common but I've got some instances, and a few on this Avant Garde box set I'm listening to now, and this specific disc even!). Anyway, it's pretty much ready to go and next I may even get the part where it actually uses the weights in the shuffle and builds the playlist for the selected album! I'll have a default for any weights that are missing so it should work just fine and there's very very few now that aren't getting a weight assigned. So that's exciting. Anyway, not much other than that. My neck seems to be in a repeating pattern from yesterday. The pain went away completely yesterday, but going to sleep, any time it's pushed against that's when the stiffness and soreness start to come back. So I woke up and applied the topical gel again. We'll see if it goes away today. So far it's much more manageable. I just have to keep myself from lying down except when I'm sleeping at night (and now it really seems only on my side works). I'll probably get back in touch with the doctor today. It does seem manageable but I don't want it to slowly build up and get worse. Also I'm using an over-the-counter version of that gel but I was supposed to get a prescription for it that was awaiting prior-authorization but they never got back to me. That would be good to have on standby in case it gets bad. We'll see.
