A Show

Last night I went to a show up at the Hi Tone. Revenge Body played first and he had a good set as always! Next was this French-Canadian sludge metal band called Aulnes (their tempos were often a little faster than I'd normally think of as sludge, but they had a bit of that sludgy sound even when faster). They were good, wasn't sure if I'd like 'em given I'm not always so into metal but I enjoyed their set. Last was Mystic Light Casino and they were good too. I picked up a cd from merch: Aulnes: Vivre dans l'Abandon. Now I can listen to some sludge metal in French!

Hey, can't make 'em all. It was a good one though and the touring band was a nice surprise.
