I forgot to mention in my last post that there was a Goner tablet up at the movie and I got this book 101 Films You Could See before You Die by Billups Allen and a little pamphlet One Punk's Guide to Electronic Music Pioneer and Disco Producer Patrick Cowley also by Billups Allen (yes, it was Billups there manning the booth and hawking his book that Goner published...he works at the store and I've seen him around, he was also one of the people in the Nakatani Gong Orchestra). Not much else. Been bummed about the whole Tyre Nichols tragedy (and seeing my city in the national news for something so awful). Did not and won't watch the video. I mean, I think it's probably good that it's available and for people to be able to know. I already know how I feel about violence and don't actually need to see it to feel any more strongly. I guess I was reading people writing about it and that's close enough for me.
