Yesterday I crossed the halfway point in the book I'm currently reading (Women and Men by Joseph McElroy, normally this wouldn't be at all noteworthy but this is a long-ass motherfucking book, half of it would be a long-ass book). At night I went to a good show at Black Lodge. First was window and her set was good as always. Then it was MPX and he was good. Then it was Adam Goodwin, the upright bass player from Germany (originally from Texas) who played at Two Rivers shortly before the pandemic started. He was once again exceptionally good. This time he had a pedalboard so there was some delay and loops so it overall had a more full and droney sound (though both ways he's played are exceptional). Anyway, yeah good show. And saw some people and stuff. Walking to the venue and back from the garage did make my foot feel a little sorer again, not very bad. I at least got to sit down throughout most of the show.
