I wrote a little again yesterday evening. Also, Jesse reached out to me asking about that Sonic Youth SYR show at The Last Place on Earth almost twenty-two years ago that I had videoed. I let him know that the audio had come out very badly but there's an audio recording extant on the internet so now I could combine my video with that audio, but that would require finding the video. When I thought I had obtained it years ago it was just the bag with the camera itself, not the videos I'd made. They're probably still at my parents' if they're anywhere at all anymore. And as my sister has since taken over that room they would have been in (I think), who fucking knows. So now I'm all thinking about that video and it'd be nice to find, but who knows (also on a weird old tape format that I don't currently have a way to play). But whatever, maybe I'll try next time I'm over there. Later in the evening Mary Beth and I watched some Hilda. It would have been practice with Patrick's band but I was going to skip to give my foot some more rest and not lug around equipment, but then one of the other guys had gotten exposed to covid the night before so it ended up being cancelled anyway.
