I got a couple packages-with-cds- delivered yesterday. The first contained William Basinski: The Disintegration Loops III and William Basinski: The Disintegration Loops IV (I also have the second one on its way to me though I think it's going to be a different pressing on a different label from these two and with different packaging, jewel case vs slightly-too-tall-for-shelves cardboard sleeves so they won't even be able to be shelved together...couldn't even get the first one and looking around, it looks like it's going to be damn near impossible to obtain at least in the immediate future, unfortunately). Then a little later I got a package with Medicine: The Buried Life. Okay, also in the afternoon Mary Beth and I took a trip to Home Depot to get some stuff. Ringing out there was a container they couldn't find a tag or price on and the lady ringing us up finally had some other container that was kinda similar but not the same and was like "I could just use this one" and it was like $12 but I was like, I'll go and see the actual price and then it was like $18 so I really should have just let her go with the first one because once I saw the real price I couldn't just go and say something else! (Like the sucker I am!) Then we took a walk around the neighborhood. We encountered a possible tryst between Princess Loaf and Ignacio (such hot and juicy gossip in there here journal!). (And I guess that's all the hot and juicy gossip I've got for today.)
